About

Ross

My passion with music started at a young age, listening to my fathers film soundtracks as well as a healthy diet of 50’s rock n roll coupled with Phil Spector 1960’s pop records. My infatuation grew upon discovering Dire Straits and Pink Floyd, where I perfectly learned to air guitar my tennis racquet.

After a many years working for people with disabilities and autism I finally managed to take time out to learn the instrument I had dreamed about playing as a child. As I self taught guitarist (I couldn’t afford a teacher!) I’m familiar with the struggles of learning this magnificent yet complex instrument.

I love so many styles of music from more or less everything guitar based to electronica. Music is my life long obsession.

I have been teaching guitar since 2008, both privately and in schools. I currently live with my fiancé and rescue dog in my home in Gorleston, and in-between teaching I still find time to make and play music live in with my band.
